Hotel Pacific Pearl

Hotel Pacific Pearl is located within walking distance to Los Destiladeros Beach. The location is about 15 or 20 minutes from the town of Pedasi on a paved road. This hotel looks quite out of place with a pagoda style roof that is a striking contrast to the Spanish colonial style of the area. Chinese influence in Pedasi and in all of Panama is huge. The Chinese first arrived for the construction of the Panama Railway in 1850. Most of the convenience and grocery stores of the area are Chinese which Panamanians call “chinitos”. The owner of the hotel owns one of these stores.

There is a Chinese restaurant in the Hotel Pacific Pearl which is also open to the general public. Meal portions are huge so make sure to share or to take away. Asian style breakfast is included for guests. There is free parking on site at the rear of the hotel.

A large pool sits in the center of the courtyard area with lounge chairs for guests to relax and cool off. Hotel Pacific Pearl has two types of rooms: the deluxe double room with a king size bed which sleeps two adults and the deluxe twin room with two queen size beds which sleeps four guests. All rooms have air conditioning, flat screen television, wardrobe and private bathrooms with shower and toiletries. Rooms also have a mini fridge, microwave and a desk for working.
